Yes. The connector is free, and it works with a Claude account at claude.ai, including the free plan.
Do I need the Deal Once app to use it?
No. You can search listings in Claude without installing anything. To contact a seller, make an offer or pay, open the listing in the Deal Once app.
What can Claude search on Deal Once?
Active products for sale, rental listings and jobs & services, filtered by keyword, category, location, price or budget, and condition for products.
Can Claude buy something or message a seller for me?
No. The connector is read only. Claude can find and show listings, and each result includes a link to open it in the Deal Once app, where you contact the seller or pay.
Does the connector see my Deal Once account or personal data?
No. No sign in is required. The connector only reads public listing details that anyone can see in the app, and it does not store your searches or any personal information.
Which areas does it cover?
Deal Once listings are mostly in Australia. Ask by suburb, city, state or postcode, for example Parramatta, Melbourne, QLD or 3111.
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard from Anthropic that lets AI assistants like Claude connect to apps and services in a controlled way. The Deal Once connector is built on it.
How do I remove the connector?
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, choose Deal Once and remove it. You can add it again at any time.
